Cylindrical, ID/OD Grinder Control Retrofit Upgrade Packages!!!
The Swiss built Kellenberger machines have continued to show up in our inbox as a solid machine in the universal cylindrical market. Some with the KEL-VISTA, KEL-VERA, KEL-VITA with lots of variations of each. Others with left and right OD Grinding options or use the B axis head to flip around to ID grinding. These Universal Grinders are machines that you come across a lot in the grinder retrofit and CNC upgrade space. We just got this one on our plant floor for control upgrade and are excited to breathe new life into solid old iron. We will be posting more on this machine as it powers on.
A precision machining company out of Salt Lake City UT with a shop of state-of-the-art equipment called us when their OD grinder went down. We scheduled shipment of the machine to and from their shop and hope to give them a headache-free upgrade with all the work and setup being done in our shop. This machine is a Kellenberger RS-M 175 / 1000 with the KELCO 90 control on it. Very similar machine to the more universal Kellenberger UR-M 175/1000.
