BEAM PUNCH

Linear Punch machine with a left and right punch. Using the user generated .dxf, position the material and activate the punches to the proper coordinates.

Project Overview:

• Import DXF of part with punched holes defined
• Post machine code
• Interface and run part on existing machine

MachMotion Solution:

We wrote a simple post processor for SheetCam to find the center of the punch holes and command the positioner to that coordinate.
Using one of our default User Interfaces we were able to give the customer a wonderful interface for a custom project with an off the shelf system with minimal setup or configuration.
