VFD is the abbreviation for Variable Frequency Drive. This option gives you the ability to variably control the spindle Speed through the CNC control. It also may give you the ability to run your machine’s SPINDLE MOTOR on SINGLE PHASE if you do not have 3 Phase power.

High quality Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) also known as a Frequency Inverter for controlling spindle motors on lathes, and mills, and many other machines. We pre-program these drives with some basic parameters to make it easier to use with Mach3 Software.

This drive is controlled through Mach3 with the 0-10V output and relay FWD command and relay REV command.
